The Program Manager at the Children Against Torture and Crime Foundation will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the organization\’s programs and services. This role involves managing program staff, coordinating with partners, and ensuring that the programs align with the foundation\’s mission and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Implementation:
- Design and develop new programs and initiatives that address the needs of children affected by torture and crime.
- Ensure programs are implemented effectively, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Monitor program activities to ensure compliance with grant requirements and organizational policies.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of the organization\’s strategic plan.
- Align program activities with the foundation\’s mission and strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion and improvement.
Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers.
- Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Collaboration & Partnership:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, community organizations, and donors.
- Collaborate with partners to enhance program effectiveness and reach.
- Represent the foundation in meetings, conferences, and public forums.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to assess program outcomes and impact.
- Collect and analyze data to inform program decisions and improvements.
- Prepare and present regular program reports to the Executive Director/CEO and the board of directors.
Budget & Financial Management:
- Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with the finance team.
- Ensure programs are cost-effective and within budget constraints.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
Advocacy & Awareness:
- Advocate for the rights and needs of children affected by torture and crime.
- Raise awareness about the foundation\’s programs and mission through outreach and communication efforts.
- Participate in advocacy campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master\’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management within a nonprofit organization.
- Strong understanding of issues related to children, human rights, and social justice.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the mission and values of the Children Against Torture and Crime Foundation.
