Aid Initiative to Support Vulnerable and Ideal People (AISVIP) is a Non-Governmental Organization geared toward empowering vulnerable and less privilege people in the society. The organization history dates back to 2016 when group of people conceived an idea of contributing to humanitarian activities in North East Nigeria. The organization was registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 17th July 2018, as a non-political, non-profitable, National-based organization. It is committed to improve the quality of life of most vulnerable and less privileged people, particularly people affected by insurgency in North East Nigeria. Also the organization has been accredited by Borno State Committee on Humanitarian Response (BOSCHR), Office of the Secretary to the State Government, and also recommended by Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA). The Ultimate goal of AISVIP is to empower and inspire vulnerable and less privilege people, to contribute for peace and nation building. Over the years, AISVIP has grown significantly both in terms of its programs and geographical coverage in Borno and Yobe states in partnership with UN Agencies, National and International Organization.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: MEAL Assistant
Locations: Jere LGA – Borno and Fune LGA – Yobe
Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilties
Monitoring & Data Collection:
- Support routine data collection for project indicators using approved tools and digital platforms.
- Conduct field monitoring visits to track activity implementation and service quality.
- Support baseline, endline, PDM, and other assessments as required.
Accountability & Feedback Mechanisms:
- Support implementation and monitoring of community feedback and complaint mechanisms.
- Assist in documenting, tracking, and following up on community feedback and complaints in coordination with the AAP Officer.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Assist in data cleaning, verification, and entry to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support preparation of MEAL inputs for reports, dashboards, and internal updates.
Learning & Capacity Building:
- Support documentation of lessons learned, success stories, and good practices.
- Assist in training field staff and community focal points on data collection and accountability tools.
Safeguarding & Ethics:
- Ensure ethical data collection, confidentiality, and safeguarding standards, particularly when working with vulnerable populations.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 – 5 years experience.
