Job Title: Nursing Team Supervisor
Job Type: 12 Months Definite Contract (with possibility of extension)

Main Purpose of the Job

The Nursing Team Supervisor will plan, organize, and oversee nursing activities and staff, ensuring quality healthcare delivery according to MSF standards and universal health practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing activities in assigned facilities (CTU/CTC, PHCs, General Hospitals).

  • Ensure staff follow MSF protocols and hygiene/IPC standards.

  • Prepare rosters, monitor staff performance, and organize training.

  • Manage stock of medicines, IV fluids, and consumables.

  • Support safe medication administration and monitor adverse reactions.

  • Ensure accurate documentation, patient records, and daily reports.

  • Identify training needs and provide bedside mentoring for MSF and MoH nurses.

  • Ensure all nursing staff are trained in triage, patient assessment, and safe practices.

Requirements

  • Education: Nurse or Anesthetist diploma (essential).

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role. NGO/MSF experience is an advantage.

  • Languages: English and local language (essential).

  • Skills: Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet).

  • Competencies: Commitment to MSF principles, teamwork, flexibility, stress management, and quality orientation.
