Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation Adviser (National Volunteer)

Location: Lagos

Role Overview Summary

  • The role supports the ACTIVE project in Nigeria by leading Monitoring and Evaluating activities, including data validation, DQA, capacity building, and supervisory visits to strengthen data management. 
  • Reporting to the state programme manager, the adviser will monitor program activities, collaborate with project teams, and work with stakeholders to ensure accountability and learning.

Ideal Applicant Summary

  • A candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, international development, statistics, or related fields (Master’s preferred) and proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, ideally within the development or non-profit sectors.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with data management, statistical software, and data visualization tools. A commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous learning is key.

Remuneration
Allowance and accommodation:

  • All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. 
  • The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
