Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager at Society for Women Development & Empowerment of Nigeria (SWODEN)

Society for Women Development & Empowerment of Nigeria (SWODEN) is a non-discriminatory and not-for-profit Non-governmental organization. The organization was established in 1995 and registered with Corporate Affairs Commission to address current challenges faced by women and youth in accessing basic information and services at the community level that affects their development and also participation in policy development at both micro and macro level. Activities are drawn from their felt needs through grassroots participation and mobilization and use of community structures to ensure sustainability.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager

Location: Katsina
Job type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement M&E systems for all project components.
• Develop data collec on tools, performance indicators, and repor ng templates.
• Train staff and partners on M&E procedures and data use.
• Conduct baseline studies, mid-term reviews, and final evalua ons.
• Analyses data and provide ac onable insights to improve program quality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in M&E for development projects.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
• Proficiency in SPSS, STATA, Excel, or other data analysis tools.
• Experience using mobile data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK, Google forms etc).

• Nigerian citizenship or valid work permit.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Team player with excellent communication and management skills.
