Position: Medical Radiographer and Sonographer
Location: Kano, Rivers.

As part of our commitment to affordable and accessible healthcare in Africa, the Medical Radiographer/Sonographer will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ultrasounds, and other medical imaging examinations.

What to expect:

• Perform and interpret high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, ultrasounds, and specialized radiographic studies.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and appropriate selection of imaging techniques for diagnostic accuracy.
• Operate and maintain radiology and sonography equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Adhere to radiation protection protocols for patients, staff, and self.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
• Participate in quality control, audits, and continuous professional development activities.
• Train and mentor junior staff or interns, when required.
• Essential education, experience and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography.
• Current practicing license with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Certification or formal training in Ultrasound/Sonography is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3–4 years relevant experience in a diagnostic or hospital setting.
• Proficiency in both radiographic imaging and ultrasound techniques.
