About the Job
Job Title: MEAL Assistant
Locations: Borno & Zamfara
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing data collection tools (e.g., questionnaires, checklists).
- Collect, enter, and manage data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date databases.
- Participate in data verification and quality control.
- Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of monitoring and evaluation plans and frameworks.
- Support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Assist in conducting field visits and data collection activities.
- Participate in project meetings and provide M&E support to project staff.
- Assist in identifying lessons learned and best practices from project implementation.
- Support the development and dissemination of learning materials.
- Contribute to the improvement of M&E systems and processes.
- Assist in the preparation of workplans, budgets, and M&E plans.
- Support the development of project reports and other documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, social sciences, project management, or a related field).
- Experience: Some experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting, preferably in a development or humanitarian context.
