We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ICT Teacher

Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

  • As a teacher, your primary role will be to teach and educate the pupils on the subject area you are engaged with.
  • You will inspire, motivate and encourage enthusiasm in the learners and guide them to make a positive impact in their communities.
  • You will deliver engaging lessons to diverse groups of students.

Job Description 

  • To plan, prepare and deliver lessons to all students/ pupils in the class.
  • To implement the designated curriculum completely and in due time.
  • To teach according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the students.
  • To supervise and deliver practical demonstrations and experiments.
  • To adopt and work towards the implementation of the school development plan.
  • To assign work, correct and mark work carried out by students.
  • To assess, record and report on the development, progress, attainment, behaviour of students and any other duties assigned by the management.
  • To plan and implement effective classroom management practices.
  • To apply appropriate multiple assessment tools and strategies to evaluate and promote the continuous intellectual development of the students.
  • To plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification: BSc or B.Ed degree holder in Computer Science
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of the specialised subject area; English Language
  • Demonstration of experience of teaching practices and a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
  • A certified teaching apprenticeship or training would be advantageous.

Salary Range
NGN200,000 – NGN400,000 based on experience
