The Africa Leadership Forum (ALF) is Africas premier civil society organization. The forum grew out of the need to assist in improving the capacity and competence of African leaders to tackle development challenges confronting Africa. The establishment of ALF was not fortuitous. It was in response to a number of pressing, challenges facing post-independence Africa. The motivation behind the setting up of ALF was the widespread and palpable crises of leadership and management across Africa. Part of ALF’s mission is to develop leadership capacities in Africa in order to increase the productivity of major actors in government, parliament, business and civil society to create enabling conditions for the development of the continent in an environment of peace, stability and security.

We are recruiting:

Position: Head, Admin and HR Unit

Location: Ogun

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Admin and HR Unit to lead our administrative and human resources functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR strategy, overseeing talent management, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring smooth administrative operations across the organization.

  • Oversee office management, procurement, logistics, and asset management.
  • Maintain updated inventory and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and organizational events.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all administrative records.
  • Supervise service contracts and office leases.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR records and ensure data protection and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate staff performance management processes.
  • Administer staff welfare, leave, and benefits.
  • Support staff training and capacity development initiatives.
  • Ensure HR compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Prepare periodic reports on HR and Admin activities.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement, HR, and administrative policies.
  • Liaise with legal and finance departments on compliance issues

Remuneration: 200 – 300k

Availability: Immediate Resumption
