- LoveReigns Heritage Foundation (LHF) is seeking a Grants and Partnerships Officer to lead fundraising efforts, secure sustainable funding, and build meaningful collaborations that advance our mission of empowering communities through education, healthcare, economic development, and leadership training.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue local and international grant opportunities aligned with LHF’s focus areas.
- Write compelling grant proposals, concept notes, letters of interest, and donor reports.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, corporate sponsors, and development partners.
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to diversify and grow the organization’s funding portfolio.
- Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals and reports.
- Coordinate donor engagement events, campaigns, and impact storytelling in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate records of funding applications, outcomes, and donor communications.
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure alignment between funding proposals and actual project needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Development Studies, International Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or fundraising certification is an added advantage.
- 2 years proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, and donor engagement, preferably in the non-profit or development sector.
- Strong research skills and the ability to match funders’ priorities with organizational goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive storytelling.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple funding applications simultaneously.
- Understanding of donor landscapes including foundations, international NGOs, and bilateral/multilateral agencies.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation concepts is a plus.
