7Eleven Consultancy Services – Our client, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with offices across the South-West and Northern regions of Nigeria, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Associate
Locations: Bauchi, Ekiti, Lagos, Niger & Ondo

Job Summary
- The Finance Associate will support the implementation of sound financial management systems, ensure compliance with donor and organizational regulations, and assist in preparing financial reports to enhance transparency and accountability.
- The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional capable of maintaining accurate financial documentation and supporting field-based financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records, including payment vouchers, receipts, petty cash, and journal entries.
- Support monthly financial reporting, bank reconciliation, and cash flow tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of donor financial reports and ensure expenditures align with approved budgets.
- Ensure full compliance with organizational financial policies and donor funding requirements.
- Review and process vendor payments, ensuring completeness of supporting documentation.
- Support procurement and inventory documentation in collaboration with the Finance and Operations teams.
- Maintain an efficient filing system for financial and administrative records, both physically and electronically.
- Participate in audit preparations by providing relevant documentation and clarifications.
- Track project budgets, monitor expenditures, and highlight potential variances or funding gaps.
- Provide general administrative and financial support to the Finance Manager or State Team Lead
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in financial or accounting functions, preferably within the NGO or development sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, ERP.
- Strong understanding of donor compliance, financial reporting, and budget monitoring.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and under minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to relocate and reside in either Ondo, Bauchi, Ekiti, Niger or Lagos State for the duration of the contract.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 Monthly.
