We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Female Gender Assistant
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of gender-sensitive programming across REBHI’s projects.
- Assist in conducting gender analysis and assessments to inform project activities.
- Facilitate community engagement sessions on gender-based violence (GBV), women’s rights, and gender equality.
- Support training and capacity-building activities for staff, community members, and partners on gender-related topics.
- Ensure gender mainstreaming in all project activities, including planning, implementation, and reporting.
- Assist in developing gender-sensitive IEC materials and advocacy tools.
- Support the documentation of success stories, lessons learned, and best practices related to gender interventions.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation efforts by collecting and analyzing gender-disaggregated data.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including local authorities, women’s groups, and other NGOs, to advance gender-related initiatives.
- Provide support in developing reports and related to gender programming.
