Job Title: Enumerator 

Location: Dutse, Babura, Kafin Hausa, Malan Madori, Gwaram – Jigawa
Job type: Contract

Role Overview

  • The Enumerators will support community projects by collecting accurate and reliable data, engaging with community members, and contributing to efforts aimed at improving children’s learning outcomes and protection.
  • The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work respectfully with communities.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of a Diploma, NCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or any related field
  • Previous experience in data collection, community surveys, or monitoring activities is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage respectfully with community members
  • Good understanding of the local context within the applied LGA in Jigawa State
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere strictly to data collection tools and protocols
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Familiarity with digital data collection tools (e.g., smartphones or tablets) is an added advantage
  • Must reside in one of the listed LGAs (Dutse, Babura, Kafin Hausa, Malan Madori, or Gwaram)
