It maintains regular consultations on policies and measures affecting business and the economy. The Chamber makes representations to the Federal Government on issues of interest to the business community, states and the economy.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Lagos
Report to: Assistant Manager/ General- Manager, Human Resources and Administration.

Responsibilities
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:

  • Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the assigned motorcycle to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
  • Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or damage to the motorcycle to the Supervisor or Manager.

Delivery & Logistics:

  • Safely and efficiently transport items to designated destinations within specified timeframes.
  • Plan and optimize routes considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.

Documentation & Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pick-up and drop-off information.
  • Keep track of motorcycle maintenance records.

Communication & Professionalism:

  • Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients and company personnel.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

  • Valid rider’s permit.
  • 3+ years of corporate driving experience.
  • Minimum SSCE qualification.
  • Literacy (ability to read and write).
  • Extensive knowledge of Lagos routes.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
