Role Overview

  • The Director of Programs & Initiatives serves as a Board Member and provides strategic leadership in designing, executing, and evaluating Henosis International’s programs.
  • This position oversees all programmatic arms of the organization — from ideation to impact — ensuring alignment with the mission, vision, and long-term strategic goals of Henosis International.
  • This role also manages program leads, mentors volunteer coordinators, and ensures that each initiative drives measurable social impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, planning, and implementation of Henosis International’s programs and outreach activities.
  • Supervise and support program coordinators, team leads, and volunteers involved in program delivery.
  • Collaborate with other Board Members to set strategic goals, annual themes, and impact targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and outcomes of programs, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations to strengthen program reach and sustainability.
  • Represent Henosis International in strategic meetings, conferences, and external engagements.
  • Ensure effective documentation, reporting, and communication of program outcomes.
  • Support fundraising, grant, and sponsorship efforts related to program expansion.
  • Uphold the organization’s values and model leadership that inspires the team and community.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong background in program management, community development, or nonprofit leadership.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading volunteer or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong sense of integrity, empathy, and commitment to social impact.
  • Ability to think innovatively, execute efficiently, and mentor effectively.

Commitment & Expectations:

  • Serve actively as a member of the Board of Directors for the designated term.
  • Attend quarterly board meetings and major Henosis events.
  • Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to program teams.
  • Uphold Henosis International’s mission and actively contribute to organizational growth.
