Crest Research and Development Institute (CRADI) Ltd GTE is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Data Collector to support a nationwide Freedom of Religion and Belief research study across Nigeria.

Project Overview
CRADI is currently implementing a nationwide Freedom of Religion and Belief research study across Nigeria. The research seeks to generate credible, high-quality data that will contribute to improved understanding, policy formulation, and intervention strategies related to freedom of religion and belief.
To successfully execute this study, the organisation seeks to recruit two Data Collectors per state across the federation.
Selected candidates will play a vital role in ensuring that accurate, reliable, and timely data is collected in accordance with research standards and ethical protocols.
Position Details
Position: Data Collector
Number of Positions: Two Data Collectors per state
Location: Nationwide across Nigeria
Fieldwork will take place in all states of the federation including Abia, Abuja (FCT), Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara, and other locations as assigned.
Applicants must be willing and available to work within their designated state.
Experience Requirement
Applicants must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in field data collection, research, surveys, or related assignments.
Previous involvement in structured interviews, community engagement, or research studies will be considered an advantage.
Purpose of the Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to ensure high-quality field data collection through trained personnel who can:

Adhere strictly to ethical standards

Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of collected information
Data Collectors are expected to uphold professionalism at all times and contribute to the overall success of the study.
Scope of Work
Under the supervision of the assigned Field Supervisor and Research Team, Data Collectors will:

Participate in a mandatory briefing session covering research tools, methodology, ethics, and expectations

Conduct structured interviews and surveys in assigned locations

Accurately record responses using approved data collection tools
-
Adhere strictly to research ethics including informed consent, confidentiality, and neutrality

Ensure timely submission of complete and verified data
-
Report field challenges, observations, and concerns promptly to supervisors
Data accuracy and integrity are central to this assignment, and strict compliance with research protocols is mandatory.
Deliverables
Successful candidates will be expected to:

Attend the mandatory pre-field briefing session

Complete all assigned interviews within the designated timeframe

Submit clean, accurate, and complete datasets daily
-
Provide brief field notes or observations when required
-
Comply fully with all reporting instructions and deadlines
Failure to meet deliverables may affect engagement status.
Duration of Assignment
This is a short-term field assignment.

Fieldwork: Thursday to Saturday, 19–21 February 2026
Applicants must be fully available for the entire duration of the assignment.
