Job Title: Crowdfunding & African Stories Sales & Business Development Executive.

Job Overview

  • We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Executive with a passion for crowdfunding, storytelling, and impact-driven initiatives. 
  • This role involves sourcing businesses that need funding, identifying inspiring stories for our platform, assisting users in listing their campaigns, and driving engagement through social media.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, digital marketing experience, and the ability to build relationships with businesses, entrepreneurs, and storytellers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard businesses seeking funding opportunities through our platform.
  • Source individuals and organizations with inspiring African stories to share.
  • Assist campaign creators in listing their projects and African stories or educate them on the process.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain businesses and storytellers.
  • Manage and grow TheAfrica Vision’s social media presence by posting regularly about campaigns and success stories.
  • Monetize the platform by identifying revenue opportunities and executing strategies to drive sales.
  • Build relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry stakeholders to foster growth.
  • Submit weekly strategic marketing plans and reports on platform growth and engagement.
  • Stay updated on trends in crowdfunding, African entrepreneurship, and digital marketing.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to contribute to the business development of TheAfrica Vision.

Qualifications

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of crowdfunding, impact-driven marketing, and community engagement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage business owners and storytellers.
  • Experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote setting.
  • Passion for African entrepreneurship, storytelling, and digital innovation.
