Our mission is to provide healthcare services to indigent people affected by neglected tropical diseases and other diseases associated with poverty and their consequences such as disabilities. We focus on health in a holistic approach and enable Nigerians with impairments to (re)gain control of their lives.

Location: Delta, Edo

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A CHW

  • Conduct community-based TB & lung disease screening using innovative tools.
  • Facilitate AI-enabled chest X-ray (AI-CXR) screening for suspected cases.
  • Collect and transport sputum or stool samples for testing.
  • Provide health education on TB, pneumonia, smoking cessation, and air pollution.
  • Refer probable cases to healthcare facilities for testing & treatment.
  • Work closely with community leaders & stakeholders to promote healthcare access.
  • Use digital platforms for data collection & reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must reside in one of the specified LGAs.
  • Fluent in the local language & familiar with the communities.
  • Smartphone user (WhatsApp & other apps).
  • Strong team player & community mobilizer.
  • Young, unemployed individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • A degree or healthcare qualification is an advantage.
