Nuru Nigeria is a local NGO with affiliates in the US, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana and Burkina Faso. Our mission is to build resilience corridors of farmer-owned and farmer-led agribusinesses and profitable rural livelihoods in 12 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of northeast Nigeria proximate to conflict-vulnerable areas by 2030. Nuru Nigeria prioritises the smallholder farmers it serves and works to cultivate lasting meaningful choices through a community led, community driven and community sustained livelihood programs across the agriculture value chain.

Description

  • Nuru Nigeria wishes to obtain Profiles from established companies and organizations willing to conduct business with in respect of supplying a variety of goods and services.
  • Companies and organizations are requested to submit relevant documents clearly indicating the types of goods and services they wish to be registered to render.
  • Companies that have already submitted and have done business with Nuru Nigeria, need also to resubmit for the purpose of business continuity.

Mandatory Documents
The documents outlined below are mandatory in order to be eligible to participate:

  • Complete the online vendor information data form
  • Complete and signed Nuru Nigeria vendor registration forms (code of conduct, vendor registration form and general terms of contract)
  • Valid Certificate of incorporation/Registration (CAC)
  • Valid trading registration reflecting specific trade/business as applicable
  • Valid Tax/VAT Certificates (updated) etc.
  • Valid Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • EFCC SCUML certificate or proof of request.
  • Company profile (including list of key personnel, qualification, and experiences with pictures, locations (main office, branches and/or outlets)
  • At least three (3) business references with an NGO.
  • Copy of financial statement for most recent 3 years (main pages of Balance Sheet, Income statement, & Cash Flow statement only ignoring notes). Audited statements preferred if available [N.B: Small Scale Enterprises/SMEs can submit two months’ bank statements].

Nuru Nigeria shall have the right to:

  • Ask for clarifications from the potential supplier(s) on any matter for which the Nuru Nigeria requires clarification, and
  • Reject company profiles which do not adhere to the above
  • Vendors can choose multiple category codes based on the nature of their business
  • This will facilitate accurate identification and classification of proposals.
