About the Project

WCAHealth is inviting qualified and experienced professionals to apply for key strategic roles under the EMBRACE Project. This initiative is dedicated to implementing evidence-based Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) strategies. Our goal is to increase community awareness, strengthen trust in healthcare systems, and drive demand for skilled birth attendance and emergency obstetric and newborn care (EmONC) services.

Available Vacancies

1. Technical Advisor / Programme Lead

  • Location: Project HQ / Regional
  • Focus: Providing high-level technical oversight, strategy design, and leadership for the SBCC initiative.

2. State Program Manager

  • Locations: Borno or Gombe
  • Focus: Managing state-level operations, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring project deliverables are met within the specific state context.

3. Community Engagement Officer

  • Locations: Borno or Gombe
  • Focus: Facilitating grassroots mobilization, building local partnerships, and implementing SBCC activities directly within communities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a University Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Health, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in SBCC, maternal and child health programs, or community-led health initiatives.
  • Skills: Strong coordination, communication, and report-writing skills. Familiarity with the cultural and social dynamics of Borno or Gombe States is highly desirable.
