Job Title: Protection Specialist
Locations: Maiduguri and Jere, Borno
Employment Type: Contract
Project duration: 10 months
Job Summary
The Protection Specialist ensures that project activities uphold the safety, dignity, and rights of affected populations, particularly persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
Key Responsibilities
The role integrates protection mainstreaming, AAP, safeguarding, GBV risk mitigation, and PSEA across the project. Responsibilities include strengthening referral pathways, monitoring protection risks, supporting community feedback mechanisms, and coordinating with protection actors.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Protection, or a related field is required, along with experience in humanitarian protection programming and strong communication and analytical skills.
