We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Health Specialist
Locations: Maiduguri and Jere, Borno
Employment Type: Contract
Project Duration: 10 months
Overview
The Health Specialist leads health‑related interventions under the project, particularly MDT support for persons affected by leprosy, in coordination with health authorities.
Key Responsibilities
The role conducts health needs assessments, supports community screening and referrals, coordinates with health facilities and SMoH, promotes health education, monitors treatment adherence, and contributes to reporting and learning.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field is required, with relevant experience in community or humanitarian health programming.
