About the position
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
He/she will Assist:
The MEAL Team to carrying out all Assessments, beneficiaries profiling and data upload to online platform, and other MEAL related activity.
He/she ensure that:
They follow all DRC’s Code of Conduct
All activities and information or data are kept Confidential
They are impartial in carrying out their duties especially in dealing with Beneficiaries.
They have a good contextual knowledge of Local Community and Social/Cultural constraints, realities and organizational relationships.
He/she will manage:
All DRC’s gadgets such as Phones, Chargers, power bank, Visibilities etc.
All DRC’s Data and have high level of credibility, confidentiality, and accountability.
About you
To be successful in this role, we expect the following:
Required
Minimum 1year of experience of working in a relief or development agency (preferably in the monitoring and evaluation domain).
Minimum of Secondary School Certificate and Computer skill.
A good knowledge of General and Mobile Data Collection Tools. E.g, KOBO Collect, ODK (Open Data Kit), Magpi e.t.c.
Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection activities (surveys, assessments, monitoring, evaluations, etc.
Inspires trust within/outside of the Organization.
Desirable
Fluency in spoken and written English, Kanuri, Hausa, and Community Immediate Language is required.
Willingness to travel locally up to 90% of the time.
