We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and other key financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of financial transactions.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance withfinancial regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct periodic financial analysis to provide insights for business decision-making.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure proper financial compliance.
- Utilize accounting software for financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial advice and recommendations to management to support business growth.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Being Chartered will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands–on experience in an accounting role, preferably in a multi-sector business environment.
Technical and Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books, or other ERP accounting systems.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, financial reporting standards (IFRS), and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
