Job Summary

Society for Family Health (SFH) is recruiting Data Quality Assessors to support the Data.FI project across selected Nigerian states. The role involves reviewing and validating program data, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and supporting client verification activities using approved tools and protocols. Successful candidates will work closely with site teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with data quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality Assessment

  • Participate in mandatory training and orientation for the Data Quality Assessment exercise.
  • Review program data to confirm accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Validate collected data using approved DQA tools and predefined criteria.
  • Identify, document, and report data gaps, errors, and inconsistencies.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Accurately document observations and findings from data validation activities.
  • Submit daily activity reports to the Data.FI DQA Site Team Leads.
  • Complete and submit required assessment tools and checklists within assigned timelines.

Client Verification and Compliance

  • Participate in client verification exercises, including monitoring phone calls and documenting feedback.
  • Adhere strictly to data protection, confidentiality, and security guidelines.
  • Ensure ethical standards and informed consent processes are followed throughout the assignment.

Expected Deliverables

  1. Completed DQA abstraction tool submitted at the end of each site assessment.
  2. Completed phone call verification checklist.
  3. Signed consent forms from relevant activities.
  4. Signed site feedback form summarizing overall site performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Education: WAEC certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience conducting Data Quality Assessments is an advantage.
  • Tools: Familiarity with KoboCollect or similar digital data collection tools is desirable.
  • IT Skills: Proven computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Background: Background in data assessment, monitoring and evaluation, or public health projects is an added advantage.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of HIV/AIDS programming in Nigeria is required.
  • Equipment: Must own and be able to operate a functional Android smartphone.
