Role Description
- As the Director of Strategy, Growth & Partnerships, you will serve as a senior leader on the Board of Directors, responsible for steering the strategic direction of Henosis International, driving organizational growth, and cultivating high-value partnerships that expand the reach, influence, and sustainability of the organization.
- You will work directly with the Executive Director, board members, program leads, and key stakeholders to shape long-term vision, develop scalable models, and position Henosis as a leading youth-development and nation-building institution across Africa.
- This role is high-impact, leadership-intensive, and central to the long-term success of Henosis International.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Growth:
- Lead strategic planning initiatives and ensure alignment with Henosis’ vision and mission.
- Develop long-term growth frameworks, expansion models, and impact strategies for new and existing programs.
- Evaluate organizational performance, identify growth gaps, and provide data-driven strategic recommendations.
- Guide the design of scalable systems, processes, and structures that support sustainable expansion.
Partnerships & External Relations:
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with organizations, schools, NGOs, faith-based institutions, private sector leaders, and government bodies.
- Lead outreach efforts to secure collaborators, sponsors, speakers, trainers, and donor relationships.
- Represent Henosis at conferences, events, meetings, and external engagements.
- Negotiate partnership proposals, MOUs, and long-term collaboration agreements.
Program Expansion Support:
- Work closely with the Director of Programs to ensure initiatives are scalable, fundable, and aligned with strategic goals.
- Provide insights on program positioning, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify opportunities for new program creation, international exposure, and cross-border scaling.
Funding, Grants & Resource Mobilization:
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies, donor pipelines, and grant-seeking opportunities.
- Support proposal development, concept notes, and fundraising communications.
- Work with the finance team to ensure resources align with strategic priorities.
Communications, Branding & Influence:
- Influence brand positioning and strategic messaging for growth, credibility, and visibility.
- Strengthen Henosis’ thought leadership presence through partnerships, published works, and external engagements.
- Assist in shaping narratives that enhance trust, reputation, and global relevance.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in strategy, leadership, partnerships, or organizational development.
- Strong ability to build relationships and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in youth empowerment, development work, or nonprofit leadership (preferred).
- Excellent planning, negotiation, communication, and systems-thinking skills.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
- Passion for health, empowerment, youth development, and national transformation.
