The Executive Director/CEO of the Children Against Torture and Crime Foundation will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to fulfill the organization\\\’s mission. This role is responsible for overall operational management, resource development, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy efforts to advance the foundation\\\’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the foundation\\\’s mission.
  • Provide strong leadership to the organization and ensure the board of directors, staff, and volunteers work towards shared goals.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative organizational culture.

Operations & Administration:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with the strategic plan.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  • Manage organizational budgets, financial reporting, and fiscal responsibilities.

Fundraising & Development:

  • Lead fundraising efforts to secure financial resources, including grants, donations, and partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding agencies.
  • Create and execute innovative fundraising strategies and campaigns.

Advocacy & Outreach:

  • Represent the foundation in public forums, media, and advocacy efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community partners.
  • Advocate for policy changes and raise awareness about issues related to children, torture, and crime.

Program Management:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services.
  • Ensure programs meet the needs of the target population and align with the foundation\\\’s mission.
  • Monitor program outcomes and impact, and make data-driven decisions for improvement.

Human Resources:

  • Hire, train, and supervise staff members and volunteers.
  • Foster a supportive and professional work environment.
  • Implement effective performance management and professional development practices.

Board Relations:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the board of directors and the foundation.
  • Provide regular updates on the organization\\\’s progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Support the board in governance, policy-making, and strategic planning.
