We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fiduciary Support
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- The Fiduciary Support will review the financial management, internal control framework and procedures for ECEWS and its global operations including revenue sharing, payment mechanisms, and risk allocation while ensuring value for money.
- Support ECEWS to assess the financial management and internal control framework and procedures in place.
- Document recommendations to address the identified weaknesses and improve oversight and accountability for funds generated and expended.
- Make input into the evaluation of ECEWS policies related to financial management and reporting to ensure sufficient understanding of the design of relevant control policies and procedures
- Work with ECEWS to develop a framework to enhance risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adequate internal controls over the human resources management and asset management systems.
- Support ECEWS to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices (USG rules, Local Laws and Organizational policies).
- Work closely with the ECEWS internal audit team to develop and implement fraud prevention and detection measures.
Minimum Recruitment Standard
- Degree in Accounting (B.Sc. or HND) is mandatory
- MBA is highly desired
- ICAN, or equivalent an added advantage
- Minimum of Five – Seven (5-7) years relevant experience in well-structured international NGO.
- Knowledge of USG regulations is highly desired.
