Job Title: Digital Communications & Content Associate
Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
- The Digital Communications & Content Associate will play a key role in shaping the organization’s digital presence.
- You will be responsible for managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, conducting research, and supporting day-to-day administrative activities.
- This position is ideal for someone who is both creative and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while staying aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, create, and publish engaging digital content (graphics, captions, blog posts, videos, etc.) across social media platforms.
- Design and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic communication.
- Manage and grow the organization’s social media presence, engaging with audiences and fostering online communities.
- Conduct relevant research on social causes, trends, and potential partnerships to support advocacy and communication strategies.
- Support the planning and coordination of digital campaigns and organizational events.
- Perform simple administrative duties, such as data entry, email correspondence, and record management.
- Collaborate with the communications and programs team to ensure content aligns with organizational goals and tone.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook).
- An excellent understanding of design tools (e.g., Canva, Studio or similar).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Passion for nonprofit work and interest in social impact, advocacy, or community development.
