Job Summary
- We are seeking a proactive and creative Corporate Communications Senior Associate to help shape and communicate the brand narrative of a top-tier financial institution.
- This role is ideal for a skilled storyteller and media-savvy professional who can drive external communications, build stakeholder trust, and support corporate visibility initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for strategic communications, public relations, social impact messaging, and ESG storytelling, with a proven ability to manage reputation, coordinate CSR activities, and create high-quality content across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
External & Media Communications:
- Draft and distribute press releases, speeches, media kits, and executive communications.
- Manage media relations and maintain positive relationships with journalists and PR agencies.
- Support brand messaging in alignment with the company’s values, particularly in ESG and CSR areas.
Brand and Reputation Management:
- Assist in executing brand campaigns and public affairs programs.
- Monitor brand sentiment and competitor narratives across traditional and social media.
- Coordinate crisis communication protocols and reputation risk responses when needed.
CSR and ESG Communications:
- Collaborate with the sustainability and ESG team to tell compelling impact stories.
- Document and promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives (e.g., financial literacy programs, environmental campaigns).
- Assist in preparing content for the annual ESG and impact reports.
Content Creation and Digital Engagement:
- Develop high-quality content for digital channels (LinkedIn, website, intranet, newsletters).
- Support the development of campaigns that engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Create and manage editorial calendars for social media and blog articles.
Internal Communications:
- Draft internal announcements, employee newsletters, and talking points for leadership.
- Support internal campaigns that enhance company culture and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Strategic Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or PR, ideally within a regulated sector (finance or government).
- Demonstrated experience managing external and internal communications strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
- Experience in event planning, digital communications, and CSR and ESG reporting.
