COOPI Cooperazione Internazionale is an humanitarian, non confessional and independent organization that fights against all kinds of poverty to make the world a better place. Founded in 1965 by Vincenzo Barbieri (Italian “father” of international volunteering), COOPI is based in Milan and it has 20 local offices in the South of the World. It works to assist populations struck by emergencies (disasters and conflicts) and to facilitate their civil, economic and social development. The association intervenes in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East in collaboration with local actors (civil society, public administration and so on). In 2013 it has implemented 160 projects. COOPI works in different sectors: agriculture, water and sanitation, health care, humanitarian assistance, human rights, education, socio-economic services, migration. All sectors are related to one another in the programs launched by COOPI all of them interrelated. COOPI is also committed to the Child Sponsorship programme in 8 countries (Perù, Haiti, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Uganda and DR Congo), and provides food, education, health and protection to 2.700 children. COOPI also operates in Italy, through awareness and fund-raising campaigns, volunteering activities (almost 400 volunteers), the promotion of the Cooperation and Development Master course at the Institute for Advanced Study of Pavia, and finally the participation to several NGOs associations, among which Link 2007 and AGIRE (Italian Humanitarian Emergency Response Agency) are the most important. The organization is supported by important institutional donors, local institutions, foundations, companies and citizens among the main donors, the European Commission Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO) recognizes COOPI as an important partner.
Expression of Interest (EOI) Suppliers Prequalification at COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale

COOPI is calling on all interested competent and duly established companies, suppliers and service providers in Kaduna, Katsina, Benue and Plateau State to participate in the 2025 – 2026 prequalification of supplier’s exercise in any of the below-listed goods, services or works area(s)
Goods/Service/Work:
- EOI -01 : Generator set – 30KVA -50HZ, 1500RPM, 3Phase, super silent (Sound proof) including Transportation to COOPI office, installation and commissioning cost for Plateau, Benue, Kaduna and Katsina X 4
- EOI – 02 : Complete Solar Set up (15 X 580 Watts Solar panels, 10kwh Felicity IVEM Hybrid Inverter, 15kwh Lithium Battery, Accessories (Change Over, Cables 10mm, Power Cable 6mm, Breaker, Surge Protector, Cable Lock, Iron Rail, Nails and Screws, Thunder Arrestor) labour and installation cost etc for Plateau, Benue, Kaduna and Katsina X 4
- EO1 – 03 : Fire proof Cash Safe (Alloy steel) 5 cubic feet (Open/close by key only) for Plateau, Benue, Kaduna and Kastina X 4
- EOI – 04 : Vehicle Hire (including fuel and driver) – Details provided in the quotation. This will be a framework agreement for 1 year. X 4
Evaluation Criteria:
Required documents for submission
- Cover Page (Indicating category(s) of interest, related LOT number(s)
- Supplier Company profile with registered address(s) official email address and phone numbers of key personnel
- Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
- TIN Registration number
- Evidence of possession of experience in the line business you are applying for, prospecting suppliers to provide at least copies of 2 PO(s) if any
- Evidence of recent supplier Tax Clearance certificate for the year 2024, Evidence of financial capability, evidence of registration with professional organizations, regulatory bodies, if any, not mandatory etc.

Please Note
- COOPI reserves the right to vary any part of this EOI at the time of award if it becomes necessary.
- COOPI is Value Added Tax (VAT) exempted, but charges Withholding Tax (WTH) in compliance with Relevant National Tax Laws.
