Job Title: Team Lead, Corporate Communications

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Profile

  • A communications professional with proven experience in multi-channel communications (radio, TV, print, and digital) for advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
  • Skilled in influencing policymakers, engaging the public, and managing digital platforms to enhance organizational visibility.

Key Responsibilities
Branding:

  • Supervise advertisements, value propositions, and marketing activities to maintain brand consistency.
  • Track media coverage of PSHAN and analyze the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure PSHAN’s branding aligns with industry trends.
  • Prepare reports on campaign performance.

Public Relations:

  • Serve as the organization’s spokesperson at interviews, press conferences, and public events. – Address inquiries from the media and public (emails, calls, etc.).
  • Manage and grow PSHAN’s social media accounts.
  • Edit and update promotional materials and publications (articles, thought leadership, healthcare research, advocacy).
  • Prepare and distribute press releases and presentations.
  • Organize PR events and actively identify partnership/sponsorship opportunities to support the Membership and Partnerships department.

Digital Assets:

  • Design and maintain a corporate website aligned with PSHAN’s strategic direction.
  • Publish and archive promotional materials and organizational records.
  • Manage internal communications and maintain the digital library (files, records, templates).
  • Control access to digital assets and ensure adherence to organizational policies.
  • Drive improvements in automation and digitization.

  • Develop and implement communications strategies targeting the public, corporates, and partners.
  • Lead the design and execution of advocacy strategies.
  • Manage PSHAN’s website and social media platforms.
  • Ensure alignment of communications with program and business development goals.

  • Achievement of advocacy-related “quick wins.”
  • Functional and engaging website and social media platforms.
  • Strong partnerships with media outlets established.
  • Successful execution of a multi-channel communications strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
  • 7–10 years’ experience in corporate communications, PR, or advocacy (health, non-profit, or development sector preferred).
  • Proven record of successful communication and advocacy campaigns.
  • Strong digital communications skills (website, social media, content production).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and public speaking skills.
  • Experience in team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
