Job Title: Program Officer
Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive Program Officer to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of various projects and outreach initiatives across the foundation’s thematic focus areas.
- This role is vital to ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day program activities, strengthening community relationships, and contributing to the foundation’s mission of empowering vulnerable populations.
- The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with a non-governmental organization (NGO) or in community development and be deeply committed to creating sustainable social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute program activities in line with the foundation’s mission and objectives.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
- Conduct community engagement, stakeholder meetings, and field visits as required.
- Support proposal writing, donor reporting, and fundraising activities.
- Work closely with the M&E team to track project outcomes and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain strong communication with partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries.
- Assist with documentation, logistics, and administrative tasks related to ongoing programs.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related field.
- 3 – 6 years of experience in NGO programming, project coordination, or community development.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong passion for humanitarian work and community impact.
