Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly analytical and detail oriented Finance Executive. This role is critical in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with international and local financial regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, experience in a multinational environment, and a proactive approach to financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, Nigerian tax laws, and corporate financial policies.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights to optimize profitability and cost management.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to ensure sustainable business operations.
- Assist in financial planning, investment analysis, and risk management strategies.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and efficiency.
- Utilize ERP systems and financial tools to automate and improve reporting.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on financial decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is strongly preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an automotive, FMCG, or multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under tight deadlines
