Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly analytical and detail oriented Finance Executive. This role is critical in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with international and local financial regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, experience in a multinational environment, and a proactive approach to financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, Nigerian tax laws, and corporate financial policies.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights to optimize profitability and cost management.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to ensure sustainable business operations.
  • Assist in financial planning, investment analysis, and risk management strategies.
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and efficiency.
  • Utilize ERP systems and financial tools to automate and improve reporting.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on financial decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is strongly preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an automotive, FMCG, or multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and Nigerian tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under tight deadlines
