Job Title: Video Editor / Animator

Job Summary
- We are looking for highly motivated and dedicated Video Editor & Animatorwho need experience and are willing to volunteer their skill to join our Project.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing:
- Assemble raw footage into a polished final product, ensuring seamless transitions and consistent pacing.
- Edit video and audio to enhance clarity, impact, and overall quality.
- Add graphics, text overlays, and other visual elements to enhance video content.
- Color correct and grade footage to achieve desired aesthetic.
- Manage and organize video files and project assets.
- Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and specifications.
Animation:
- Create engaging 2D and/or 3D animations for various purposes, including explainer videos, social media content, and presentations.
- Develop storyboards and animation concepts based on project requirements.
- Design and animate characters, objects, and environments.
- Apply motion graphics and visual effects to enhance animations.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure animations align with overall project goals.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
- Provide constructive feedback and incorporate feedback from team members.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Technical Skills:
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Export videos in various formats for different platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in a relevant field such as Film Production, Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related discipline.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve or similar.
- Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of audio editing and mixing.
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and animation skills.
