About the Role

  • The Global Brand and Communications Manager – Clinics and Maternities is responsible for developing, stewarding, and strengthening the MSI clinic network brand across multiple countries in Africa and Asia which includes both women’s health outpatient clinics as well as maternity hospitals. The role ensures that MSI clinics are trusted, recognisable, and consistently experienced as high-quality, client-centred healthcare providers, while allowing for appropriate local adaptation across diverse cultural, regulatory, and market contexts.
  • This role focuses specifically on how the MSI brand shows up where clients interact with services—including digital channels, above the line and local marketing—so that brand strategy directly supports client trust, service uptake, and sustainable clinic growth. The Global Brand Manager works closely with country teams, regional and global marketing colleagues, clinical leadership, and operations to ensure brand and service experience are closely aligned.

To perform this role, you’ll need the following skills:

  • Strong brand strategy and stewardship skills, with a focus on service or consumer-facing brands
  • Ability to translate brand strategy into practical guidance for frontline teams
  • Excellent storytelling and messaging skills, with sensitivity to healthcare and reproductive health contexts
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across clinical, operational, and marketing teams
  • Ability to balance global standards with local adaptation
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills in complex, multi-country environments

To perform this role, you’ll need the following experience:

  • Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in brand management, marketing, or communications
  • Experience working with service-based, retail, or clinic/hospital networks is highly desirable
  • Experience managing brands across multiple countries or regions
  • Experience working closely with frontline, operations, or clinical teams
  • Experience working in or with Africa and/or Asia
