The Federal Ministry of Education has officially opened the application portal for the strategic recruitment of Technical Facilitators to support Federal Technical Colleges across Nigeria.
This one-year ministerial intervention forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing reforms to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) nationwide. The initiative aims to reposition Nigeria’s technical education system to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving labour market.
The recruitment aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and seeks to bridge Nigeria’s critical skills gap by engaging qualified, industry-oriented professionals capable of delivering modern, competency-based training.

Programme Overview
This strategic recruitment is designed to:
- Strengthen the quality, relevance, and responsiveness of technical education in Nigeria
- Equip students with industry-relevant skills for workforce readiness and innovation
- Transform Federal Technical Colleges into centres of excellence for technical education and skills development
- Improve both practical and theoretical instruction across technical institutions
Selected Technical Facilitators will contribute to delivering modern vocational training that aligns with current industry standards and national development priorities.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess any of the following in relevant technical, vocational, or educational disciplines:
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
- National Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Bachelor’s Degree
Higher qualifications and additional certifications may be an advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should:
- Have demonstrable experience in technical instruction, vocational training, or industry-specific practice
- Possess strong pedagogical and instructional skills
- Be committed to improving technical education outcomes
- Demonstrate capacity to contribute to workforce development and national skills advancement
Professionals with practical industry exposure are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is a one-year ministerial intervention programme.
